Mississippi Mud Cake and Icing
Ingredients:
2 c. sugar
3 sticks butter, softened
4 eggs
1/2 c. cocoa
1/4 tsp salt
3 tsp vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans
1-1/2 cups plain flour
1-1/3 cups coconut
Marshmallow cream
For Icing:
1 lb box confectioners sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
2 sticks butter, softened
1/3 small can condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Cream butter and sugar together
Beat eggs in
Add flour, cocoa, and salt together
Add to creamed mixture
Pour into greased 9 x 13 inch pan
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes
Melt marshmallow cream on hot cake, spread thinly
For Icing:
Sift cocoa with sugar
Mix with milk, vanilla, and butter
Spread on cooled cake
